A limited edition of just 2,661 bottles, this is the second release of an Ardnamurchan that has been finished in wine barriques from Paul Launois, a Champagne producer based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The first was an instant sell-out, and this edition seems to be no exception!
Initially filled in first-fill Bourbon barrels, the spirit picks up considerable fruitiness from the 195-litre wine barrels, with clear notes of tropical fruits and light honey. Such is the lighter, delicate notes of the flavour profile that the alcohol level does mask some of the profile, meaning this a drop of water - not much - is almost definitely recommended as it comes across a little 'hot' otherwise. But with that drop there's mouthwatering notes of sweet citrus, mango and, weirdly, apple flavoured kids jelly sweets.
It's a marked diversion from what I consider the 'house' style of the distillery, but still an absolute belter in it's own regard!
This bottle is being sold on behalf of a customer of The Spirit Specialist. The bottle is fully sealed and intact and the fill level is high. The condition of the bottle and label is pristine.

Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND IF YOU ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE!

All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
