    The 'other' Orkney distillery, Scapa often gets ignored for the more prevalent Highland Park. But it's an absolute belter of a whisky in it's own right - or at least it was before the brand owners did a rebranding, got rid of the age statement and pretty much let everyone down.

    But the team at Gordon & MacPhail have continued to purchase new make spirit from the distillery, matured it in their own casks and ensured that as there is at least some great Scapa still available. But even then, following a rebranding of their own even those have become few and far between. So a lot of drinkers are now looking to get their hands on whatever they can from this excellent range.

    Here we have Scapa spirit distlled in 2000 and matured in a combination of Sherry and Bourbon casks by G&M. I've been lucky enough to try this previously and it's a belter, full of coastal notes with a salted caramel note running throughout. If you're a fan of Scapa it's everything you could ever ask for!

    This bottle is being sold on behalf of a customer of The Spirit Specialist. The bottle is fully sealed and intact and the fill level is high. The condition of the bottle and label is pristine.

    Delivery charges:

    Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by the carriers we use.

    Please note due to our opening times goods ordered on a Saturday may result in a delayed arrival. Goods ordered on a Sunday or Monday will be shipped from the store on the Tuesday immediately following - please bear this in mind if you have a deadline.

    48 Hour Delivery uses the Tracked 48 service from Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

    Next Day Delivery uses DHL services, a tracking number will also be supplied to allow you to follow its journey.

    Items are NOT insured as standard, please contact us if you would like to discuss additional insurance for premium products.

    All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or excessive amount of bubble wrap for additional protection.

    All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.

    RETURNS / EXCHANGES POLICY

    The Spirit Specialist offers EXCHANGES ONLY on unwanted items to an equal amount. Refunds will not be given, cash differences in favour of the purchaser in the case of an exchange will also not be provided.
