Founded in 1763, Hine is one of the most highly regarded Cognac houses in the world, with a Royal Warrant granted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1962. The Hine House has stood at on the banks of the river Charente in Jarnac, France since the 18th century and is one of the oldest houses in the region, serving as the company's headquarters.

Hine Rare is classed as Fine Champagne Cognac, meaning that the eaux-de-vie used are all from the Grande or Petite Champagne areas, with at least 50% from Grande Champagne. It's a marriage of over 20 different eaux-de-vie with a minimum age of 5 years - the result is a soft and mellow spirit with forward notes of apricot and peach overlaying floral hints of honeysuckle.

It's a wonderfully easy-drinking Cognac with plenty of complexity and style, perfect for finishing off a great meal.
