Join The Spirit Specialist and discovered a new Yorkshire distillery who have expanded from growing King Edward potatoes to producing vodka to creating some incredible Single Malt whiskies!
Master Distiller Ben Mordue will be guiding us through the history of the business before exploring the new make spirit, the first three releases made available to the public and two 'work-in-progress' samples to show the thinking between how and when to release a new bottling!
This is a unique opportunity to discover a micro-distillery in its earliest days and learn the difficulties of being a start up venture in a highly competitive market.
Tickets cost £25 and each purchase entitles you to a pack of 6 x 30ml measures, plus exclusive access to a private Zoom call on the evening of Friday 20th February 2026 with The Spirit Specialist and Ben Mordue in which an informative and entertaining presentation will be given.
For those unable to make the event live in person, a recording of the stream will be uploaded to YouTube on a private link immediately after, meaning you can watch along at your leisure.
The ticket price does not include postage of the sample pack to your door if this is required - please choose 'click-and-collect' to pick up in person from our shop in Howden, East Yorkshire or select the postage options at checkout.
To ensure enough time for the sample pack to be delivered before the event, it is recommended to purchase your sample pack before Saturday 14th February - after this date there is no guarantee packs will arrive in time, although everything will be done to ensure this happens!

DELIVERY CHARGES:
Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by Royal Mail. Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND IF YOU ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE!

All orders are sent on a Tracked service with Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.
Items are NOT insured as standard, please contact us if you would like to discuss additional insurance for premium products.
All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
