The Nevada H&C Distilling Company was founded in 2012 by Aaron Chepenik and Jonathan Hensleigh in Las Vegas, Nevada. Using spirit sourced from MGP in Indiana, the company ages their whiskey in the Nevada desert and leans on bespoke blending to differentiate their whiskey from other MGP sourced whiskeys. Limited release bottles come with a stamped wax seal of two crossed guns and the phrase, “Bibamus Moriendum Est” denoting "drink, for we must die" - the company have adapted this into “drink and enjoy today, because we won't be around forever."
Although some people turn their nose up at MGP sourced whiskies, there are some absolutely brilliant blending projects using them as a supplier - and Smoke Wagon is no exception.
An exclusive single barrel release at a good age that was only available to Florida retailers, this is a Bourbon on the spicier side with hints of chili spice and even a hint of dry cinnamon. However this evolves into softer orchard fruits and warm vanilla towards the finish, adding complexity and ensuring the finish is easy to enjoy, even at the high ABV.

Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by Royal Mail. Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND IF YOU ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE!

All orders are sent on a Tracked service with Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
