    Launched in March 2020, Teremana is the brainchild of a little-known actor named Dwayne Johnson, who was previously known as 'The Rock' in a realtively minor wrestling TV show. I jest, of course, but Teremana is another 'celebrity' brand of which there appear to be about 4,000 of Tequila in particular.

    However, Johnson is clearly incredibly passionate about his brand - he wants it to be a 'Tequila for the People'. The name translates loosely as 'spirit of the earth', with the Latin word 'Terra' or 'earth' combined with the Polynesian word 'Mana' or 'spirit'.

    The Anejo release hit the shelves in the US in December 2021, and is still not yet officially available in the UK. Blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco county are roasted in brick ovens before distilling, and the spirit is then aged in American whiskey barrels between one and two years to add a rich, full and fruity profile.

    At a 'Celebrity Spirits' tasting event I hosted in June 2020, I was surprised at how impressed I was with George Clooney's Casamigos Reposado Tequila - and now I'm annoyingly impressed at how much better Teremana Anejo is to that, and most other Tequila's I've experienced so far.

    Don't mix this, don't use it in a Margarita, just put the bottle in the freezer and pour a decent chilled measure into a glass - don't let ice dilute it down, either. The variety of sweet, spicy, earthy and rich notes coming from this spirit are fantastic, and they blend beautifully together on the palate and during the lengthy finish. This is absolutely Tequila at it's best, and we really need to get this distributed in the UK ASAP!

    Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by the carriers we use.

    Please note due to our opening times goods ordered on a Saturday may result in a delayed arrival. Goods ordered on a Sunday or Monday will be shipped from the store on the Tuesday immediately following - please bear this in mind if you have a deadline.

    48 Hour Delivery uses the Tracked 48 service from Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

    Next Day Delivery uses DHL services, a tracking number will also be supplied to allow you to follow its journey.

    All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or excessive amount of bubble wrap for additional protection.

    All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.

    RETURNS / EXCHANGES POLICY

    The Spirit Specialist offers EXCHANGES ONLY on unwanted items to an equal amount. Refunds will not be given, cash differences in favour of the purchaser in the case of an exchange will also not be provided.
